Valerie LeBlanc will be working with the concept of time. For this exhibition in the TRUNK©, LeBlanc will explore the loss of 'good times' and valuable nanoseconds, seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, and decades through the timekeepers' clock. She will be interviewing the people outside of public areas such as shopping malls, on the street, outside of Eastern Edge Gallery. She will record the interviews and edit them to create a sound piece on the subject. The sound piece will be broadcast through a P/A system on top of the TRUNK© in those same public areas. People will be invited to tell their favourite story, air their gripe, or to elaborate on their most precious moments in life. Some specific questions will be prepared. Topics such as loss of time, gaining time, time equals money, good / bad use of time, enjoyment of time will be addressed.
